We are looking forward for a fun filled year of learning and growing at our 5th grade Balavihar. This years curriculum is to learn Mahabharata based on Raja Gopalachari's book Mahabharata Chapters 1-40. We are also going to cover Chapters 21-32 from the book -India the Sacred Land. ReplyDeleteWe have covered upto chapter 16 of the Mahabharatha. The children enjoy the introduction of a new character every class, and have enthusiastic discussions.
We have also covered Mudakaratha Modakam bhajan of Lord Ganesha, and the Aarti and Pledge. We have also learnt new slokhas and prayers.
Bhagwad Geeta chanting is also going on very well.
Parents we are looking forward to comments and suggestions.
